ORIGIN/ONYX2 SYSTEM DISK PATCH SUPPLEMENT 7/98
README
Silicon Graphics, Inc.
The IRIX 6.5 Installation Tools CD (part number 812-0758-002)
would normally contain a copy of all of the patches installed
on your system disk. However, three new patches were created
after the Installation Tools CD was completed. These three
patches, Patch 3212, Patch 3216, and Patch 3218, were
installed on your system disk.
Should you ever need to recreate the system disk as it was
shipped to you, you will need to use this CD to install
these three patches.
Should you ever need to re-install the patches on your system
disk, or for more information about what was installed on your
system disk, please see the selections file, located in the
/var/systemdisk directory.
If your selections file is no longer available, you may find
an archive of selections files on the Web at:
http://www.sgi.com/Products/SystemDisk/
Installation Information
------------------------
The patches on this CD were pre-installed. To recreate your
system disk and install these patches, please see the
instructions in the selections file.
You may choose to read the release notes for patches before
installing them.
To view the release notes for patches, open a unix shell and
type:
cd /CDROM/docs <Enter>
./CDgrelnotes <Enter>
