  2. ORIGIN/ONYX2 SYSTEM DISK PATCH SUPPLEMENT 7/98

  4. Silicon Graphics, Inc.

  6. The IRIX 6.5 Installation Tools CD (part number 812-0758-002)
  7. would normally contain a copy of all of the patches installed
  8. on your system disk.  However, three new patches were created
  9. after the Installation Tools CD was completed.  These three
  10. patches, Patch 3212, Patch 3216, and Patch 3218, were
  11. installed on your system disk.  
  12.  
  13. Should you ever need to recreate the system disk as it was
  14. shipped to you, you will need to use this CD to install
  15. these three patches.
  16.  
  17. Should you ever need to re-install the patches on your system
  18. disk, or for more information about what was installed on your
  19. system disk, please see the selections file, located in the
  20. /var/systemdisk directory.

  22. If your selections file is no longer available, you may find
  23. an archive of selections files on the Web at:

  27. Installation Information
  28. ------------------------
  29. The patches on this CD were pre-installed.  To recreate your
  30. system disk and install these patches, please see the
  31. instructions in the selections file.

  33. You may choose to read the release notes for patches before
  34. installing them.

  36. To view the release notes for patches, open a unix shell and
  37. type: 
  38. cd /CDROM/docs <Enter> 
  39. ./CDgrelnotes <Enter>
